Adorable!!! You can make a “grown up” version that would make a cool handbag. The simplest closure would be a drawstring lining, or you design a clasp closure!

I loved this pattern. Please note, though, I purchased the digital download of this pattern at Missouri Star Quilt and was upset to find it did not include any of the templates for the pumpkin and faces. I had to go to Jennifer’s site and purchase pattern there and thankfully she did include all of the templates for the pumpkin and different faces. Thank you Jennifer.

You could use a snap to close the top if making a purse. Could also make with other fabrics without the face for other seasons (think Easter basket?) Etc.
