One of Peru's most famous dishes, Lomo Saltado, is the country's stir-fry take on 'Steak and Chips', and is one of the most juicy and delicious recipes.
Comprising of thin strips of sirloin steak, onions and tomatoes, what makes this dish special is for the smoky flavour that you get from the Wok that gives it that authentic and delicious taste.
The ingredients for this dish are:
- 500 gr of Sirloin Steak
- 3 Onions
- 1 Orange Pepper (OR 2 Yellow Peppers)
- 4 Tomatoes
- 1 Tablespoon of Garlic Paste
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons chopped coriander
- 1 Tablespoon of Oyster Sauce
- 6 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 6 tablespoons of beef stock
- 2 tablespoons of Pisco or Rum
- 2 tablespoons of white vinegar
- Salt, Pepper, and Cumin to taste
