Ooooo I’m Lebanese a very close neighbor of Palestine. We share a lot of the same foods but, I’ll give it to my Palestinian brothers and sisters, Makloubeh is a bit better than our rice dishes. Especially with the presentation.

Btw, Maklouba means turned upside down so it refers to the way the pot is flipped upside down at the end

I worked with children & their families in a hospital setting. One family from Jordan made me maqluba and baba ghanouj in appreciation of my assistance. So delicious.

makloubeh is actually a jordanian national dish but palestinains practically adopted it because during the occupation most Palestinians fled to jordan, (jordan is 60% palestinians) so we adopted the makloubeh and it became a popular dish we love along with our Jordanian neighbours ❤
