Hello Everyone!
We are back with the recipe of masala tea/chai. Masala chai is one of the faourite drink during winter in South Asia including Nepal and India. Masala chai is prepared by boiling a lot of different spices and herbs in water or milk and sugar is added for the sweetness. This authentic spicy tea is served warm to the guests. Masala chai is supposed to cure normal cough and cold and it is therefore very popular in form of hot drinks. Chai can be served in the breakfast or with the snacks in the afternoon.

Here is the complete list of the ingredients for making 3-4 cups:
1½ water
1 inch ginger
5-6 leaves of Tulsi (Holy Basil)
2 cloves
3 cardamom
5-6 black pepper
1 small piece of cinnamon
2 tea bags or
2 tsp loose tea
1½ cup milk
3 tsp sugar (optional)
