Hi IPCS, I really love your videos, the information that you provide is excellent! Would you be able to share a formulation for a vintage styled 'cake' mascara? A lot of the older formulations even up to the '50s seem to use soap as a base. I'm wondering if it's possible to create a pigmented, hard balm that can be wetted and used to form a type of paste so that it can be applied to the lashes? Thank you in advance!

No, you don’t but if you don’t want it to run easily with normal tearing that occurs to moisten the eye, then it is recommended to have some waterproofing agent in there

Yes - there is a lot of development, maintenance and different programming rules for the different product types, so they are stand alone programs. You will need to subscribe in each of the programs you specifically want to access separately. Happy formulating!

After cool down, the next day, the product is ready to pack. You would need a piston filler and thin nozzle and it will pour into packaging well. Happy formulating!

Hi Thankyou for the makeup formulas.. Can I measure and adjust pH of water phase and then add oil phase.. And then not measure the pH of final product.. Is this right.. Thankyou

Yes you can but careful with the preservative - this can alter pH and is very important in the formula. If you plan to check/adjust pH first make sure you use a heat tolerant preservative in the water phase so you can adjust after adding it. Hope this helps.
