This probably sounds crazy but I prefer workbooks to games and manipulatives right now because we have a baby and it's hard to play a game and focus + keeping parts together is difficult too.

That does NOT sound crazy at all! We all have to do what is best for our family, which is what makes homeschooling so amazing! In times of trial we resort to JUST Teaching Textbooks because it's hands off for me.
