Dont forget to mention the POD licensing restrictions that CF imposes. Not all assets can be used as-is. Some need to be modified first. I liked that Illustrator method, although I dont have that tool. Is there an alternative, but following the same process?

you're definitely right, you need to check the licensing for every asset. unfortunately I couldn't find an alternative for illustrators shape builder tool but I'll definitely make a video if I found a good alternative for that.
