Beginner Friendly Meat Pie Recipe
Ingredients
Dough
1.5 kg plain flour
1 tbsp baking powder
750g unsalted butter
1 tbsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp salt
1 cup semi skimmed milk
1/2 of large onions
3 cloves of garlic
Filling
4 medium potatoes ( cubed )
1 kg beef thinly sliced and cut into small pieces
Butter
Grated carrots (4)
1 large onion sliced
Rapseed oil
1 tbsp of flour or cornflour
Salt to taste
Paprika
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Curry powder
Black pepper
Bay leaves

Oh yes! I was fortunate to be in church and had some Very rich, flaky and delicious. I love the chunky meat in the filling and the rough appearance of the top crust makes it look very yummy 😋 I even took some for my lunch at work the following day lol 😆 Thank you
