100g henna 30g sugar Summer/25g sugar winter 30g lemon juice 200g water Mix Sprinkle 1tbsp water on top Double wrap 5-6 hours or overnight rest for dye release Add Eucalyptus/ Tea tree /clove essential oil 25 to 30ml Mix properly Henna is ready

The best way for henna to stick to the skin (When designs are drawn the lines break badly) is to exfoliate, wax the hair out (Shaving makes it grow faster) of the skin and do a soft coconut and coffee scrub and apply moisturizer one hour before doing Mehendi designs on the skin. After one hour, take a warm wet towel, not dripping wet, and clean the skin free of the moisturizer so you don't have a slippery surface. The skin will have a very smooth surface and the henna design will stick very well if it's a good cone like this paste in the video. There are a lot of steps to making good henna and preparing the skin for the design to achieve max results. Aftercare for the Mehendi design is also important. Apply coconut oil after shedding the dried henna so it darkens faster. It's a lot of work but will look very nice for the event.
