I've been giving him the same amount of texting he gives me. If he takes forever to respond, once he does, I will look at it and take a few hours before I respond. Or I wait until the next day. Sometimes when I wait to respond he then asks when I'm free to actually go on a date. I hate playing these "games" but it works. And stop social media altogether. Somewhere along the lines people stopped posting for intention and are now posting for attention. Just don't. Leave a bit of mystery about yourself, your life and what is going on with you. Not everyone needs to know everything about you. You don't need the external validation. And do not lurk on their social media or you will just drive yourself crazy.

By now, we the women have understood this very well with all the tips and strategies from places like KZbin, books and what have you. It's no news. The thing is, most of us did try the " don't chase, let them come to you, ignorance is bliss,"etc. but, the issue is not just that right now. The thing is, even after following those ways, the complaint from the other side was that, we didn't show any concern about them, so they weren't happy either. Therefore, I think, it's not because we didn't follow the assignment, we did, but they weren't cool with anything we did. There's always something they don't like about, they aren't sure about, and then they go. Imagine, both parties follow the " don't chase" module, this human race won't run in the next 200 years.

You are so spot on 🗣️ as I watched the video: it had great points and I even took a page or two from this gentleman’s book. However: the majority of the video both reassured what I already knew and annoyed me at the same time. The part about “dangling the carrot” as a way to get a mans attention is an exhausting game I do not wish to play. I get having a balance to spark interest/curiosity, but many take advantage of that. If I have to play this cat chase mouse game so you’re interested in me, I will gladly pass. I like it when someone makes it CLEAR they like me and stand on business to make me feel as such. And no it’s not asking too much despite what they say. Especially whenever he talks about the pursuit of chase, daily texting etc. I completely understand not wanting to text 24/7 (I don’t even want to do that) but it’s a complete difference between that and not checking in with me at least once a day. If they can’t even do that, I don’t see a relationship with that person anyways🤷🏾‍♀️. Second: it’s just best to live your life until time reveals who your soulmate is. All this advice, rules, and steps to dating gets so exhausting sometimes. I know most people are mostly spreading awareness, but it sums up how everyone thinks these days. Dating should honestly not be this complicated, draining and hurtful. Most people can’t get over their ex, haven’t unpacked past trauma, no one wants to make the first move because no one wants to look stupid etc etc. It’s too much, it’s sad our society has came to this point. But who knows: maybe it’s best to let this gross infested dating pool subside until we can truly unite again. Forever invest into yourself as well❤
