The can’t go back now is super true, and tbh if I were in that position I would then categorize the man into a not so serious situation, unless proven otherwise do to the line being crossed. It would show me my boundary wasn’t respected or reciprocated on his side (at first glance unless proven otherwise) so I’d not take him too seriously as I were to before crossing the line.

The thing is, we as women have heard "How to get a man/How to keep a man happy" etc since 1800s. You can Google old archives about advice on how to keep a man happy since before the 1900s. that's an incredibly pessimistic way to look at this. yes, women will never be loved the way we want to, because men love differently and it's through care and help more than compliments and roses. we're different species and no thought or feeling is experienced the same. but what relationships are about is trying to work through those differences and fit in each other's way of love and appreciate it. if you only want men for money, you'll only get men for money.

The test part doesn't really make sense, it can only have 2 outcomes first is if the guy tries to escalate and the woman goes along with it, she fails the test but the other outcome is the guy breaks a boundary they clearly set in place (to not have sex on the 2nd date) and ruins the chance of even being with the girl that he considers "wifey material". Contrary to some peoples beliefs I actually don’t avoid the science because I think women aren’t capable of understanding.
