I need to make this quilt because it reminds me of my Mother. She was born on October 3, 1924 and her name was Mildred. Her nickname was "Millie". I know she would have loved this quilt, and I have the perfect fabric for it. My Mom passed away on Sept. 8, 2012 and I miss her very much! Thank you for sharing this tutorial with us, Natalie!

i love Natalies nice quiet way of teaching.. and that she keeps the workspace clear as she works. when the soace is cluttered i get distracted. Everything was so concise and simply presented. Natalie is so calm and relaxing to watch. i dismissed the quilt at first as too complicated ( i am dyslexic quilting is a challenge)and was astounded at the simplicity of construction. Thank you Natalie. This one is now on my MustDo list. Hurricane or not.. this day starts off well🎉

I love this pattern! GREAT use of those 10" squares (which I seem to have an addiction to accumulating). I can just see this in Christmas or Fall fabrics as a throw on the back of a sofa. Might even make one with a border to enlarge the end product. THANK YOU ... and a WONDERFUL job of "tutoring" us all, Natalie!

I love this quilt, and the tutorial was perfect for giving me all of the info I would need to make this myself. I can also picture it with sashing between the blocks, the same narrow white, making it a bit larger and maybe emphasizing the possible secondary patterns? Thanks, Natalie, for this great project.

Natalie, I had no idea this was a one-block quilt until you laid the block out and said "that's it". And what a beautiful line of fabric. I like that there seem to be no real light and darks, all are about the same value. So rare in a pre-cut! I'll defiitely be making this!
