EXTREMELY IMPORTANT after the most recent patch. If your car ends up in the wall you will not get the money, mileage and XP... your car MUST NOT be stationary. It needs to be constantly driving. This can be achieved by tying off your analog stick slightly aiming to the right so it stays grinding off the wall !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IMPORTANT POINT I MISSED !!!! Ensure your remote is plugged in so it does not die !!

@@SuperNight25 Yeah, I put on a 1 hour race, went out and when I came back around 1.5-2hours later I didnt get XP or money. When I do it with 10 minute races it does work tho.

@@fragdanvers5410 repeat the same process for a 1 hour race and just keep an eye on it maybe every now and then hit the analogstick it could be down to a recent patch on the system as maintenance was done between the 30 - 31 of July 2021. I will also try this again myself this evening and inform you of my results. Once again apologies on this not working for you it seems to be working for others and some not

I'm about to do a 14 hour one hope it works left it on while I'm awake everything is working fine 14 laps in hopefully this works so I can get some good cars currently my best car is an Audi R8 ok but needs some improvement what car you recommend for around 2.5 million?

The GR3 category is the most used in the game. I would recommend either the 458 Italia, the merc, Porsche 911, mclaren bmw, all these cars a very hard to control so if you are a new player maybe look to the VW bettle

Yo guys this still works,no jokes. Just did a 7 hour run, but I managed to tape my controller (left stick) in a way that would just grind the wall (tape it so it steers a bit to the right against the wall) , and pressed and taped my R2 (changed from X to R2) just enough so that it would not go too fast

@@SuperNight25 my second time didn't work though, but I must say this second time I didnt do well with the tape. I believe that if the server sees that you are riding against the wall for too long (nose of car against wall) or when you finished a lap way over time (like 15 minutes) then it cancels the challenge. Really need to fix that tape extremely well so that it can keep going on for hours without crashing.

There is validity to this. Though I have noticed some people set for longer races and 100% seem to go more than 30 laps down and still get the money. Very hit and miss.

This must be one of the few glitch that works for a game that has been without updates for two years and its servers will be deactivated next year

To be honest they have given up on GT7 aswell and that is very apparent. I suspect the closure of the GT Sport servers it to make room for GT Sport 2 which i suspect is I’ll be dropping relatively soon or at least announced. They have also been leaking and teasing a open world driving game too through several different sources. One of them being the GT movie. That’s why I suspect the closure of the GT sport servers and the lack of updates for GT7. They have moved on to different things. So things to keep an eye out for GT Sport 2 GT open world

You can only do it once at a time usually have to wait 24hours for it to work. the longer the initial time the better as you can only complete one every 24hours. It is not patched have a new video on how to do it coming out soon

You need to ensure that all steps are followed 100% correctly with rubber bands tying your analog sticks aiming towards the wall. If your car becomes stationary you will not get the credits. Refer to pinned message if you have any trouble.

This seems a long grind. I've changed my controller to go forward with the analog an propped it up easier that way then a. Rubber band

I disagree completely as the chances of the remote vibration causing the remote to move and this causing the whole thing to go wrong. I advise everyone to use the rubber band method as there is simply nothing that can go wrong. But if leaning the analog is working for you then by all means use that. Shortcut penalty (None) 9. Correct Vehicle Course After wall collsion (On) 10. Replace Cars when they leave track (On) 11. Flag Rules (Off) The gas is on all the race (Checked the replay) And the car is always driving next to the wall as I let the left analog stuck to the right as well with a rubber band. Also I completed the first Lap manually. After all that I got no money nor experience.

I put out a poll a few days ago to see how many people it worked for and if it’s still working. 75% of people say it is or has worked for them. So chances are you may have done it incorrectly. No you need to complete laps or it won’t work

Good question. The answer is maybe, GT SPORT like GT7 is a entirely online game so if you are not connected to the internet you cannot play the game for the most part. So the conclusion is if you have never been disconnected from the servers before you should be okay but if your internet has a tendency to completely disconnect you might run in to issues. Maybe find a sweet spot like 1 hour stints or 2 hour stints in low traffic times for your connection. Hope that helps. Woah first time I’ve been asked this question. I sincerely doubt it especially on the old PS4 remotes that were fairly bulletproof in comparison to the PS5 duelsense, however as a electronics engineer in my everyday I know that the potentiometers that Sony use across the board in the analog block are generally pretty weak. Tho I sincerely doubt it will cause damage on the brass strip as it is just at one location not going back and forth “ wearing “ on the brass strip in the potentiometer.
