it's wise to scan first b/c then you're far more likely to get a 2nd drop from what you're mining.

Protip for Whispering Eggs: Make a hole completely under and stay under there, the creatures won't follow you down the hole and will basically be "searching" for you and eventually dissapear. I used to mainly farm whispering eggs and that is the most effective least-damaging method I used. Side tip: get all the holes dug first before farming them that way you're just an easy jet flight from the next hidey hole. Also now you can disable sentinals on a planet with sentinal strongholds. Gotta get on the platform and disable them first. I'd recommend doing that first before destroying the silos

@8:00 The sentinels spawned by Salvageable Scrap are *CORRUPTED* Sentinels. This is important! this is the safest way to get Pugneum outside of buying it, and the corrupt sentinels can easily be defeated with even just an unmodded Boltcaster, and *they won't summon allies to help them, neither do they give you wanted stars for killing them!* This is why this is the safest non-shop way of getting Pugneum. These corrupt sentinels also drop glass, too! So always kill them, don't run away. Also, you can tell how valuable the Salvageable Scrap is before you even open the canister: the more segments protecting the core, the more valuable the item is. 4 casings are always a gold (rare) item, 3 of them is a purple item, and 2 is a blue. Also, Ancient Bones do not spawn sentinels, so those are always safe.

I respect this kind of video. Eventhough the tips are old, the fact that you guys are trying to play fair and square when the game can literally be played with glitch is just top gamer moment. It makes me want to play glitchless Survival run instead.

I never understood using glitches. Like ... if I'm doing that to make money I might as well launch cheat engine or modify the save and just create a few billions out of nothing. It's pretty much the same thing just even faster.

The first one about refining hardly increases value every time you refine due to the ratio of refining, cobalt is 192 I think you said in the video, refining into ionized cobalt takes 2 cobalt and is just over 400, for just about 3% more

you are gathering those cores herribly inefficent what you want to do is stand near the egg when you break it and hold your pickup button the second it breaks, this will get the core even if it falls through the map, and is just quicker in general by doing it like this you can easily get a at least two cores before the horrors fully spawn, and if you get hit while getting the cores you will still pick it up despite being yeeted since you were already interacting with it I can easily get 1 - 2 clusters per swarm (which is anywhere from 5-8 cores) while only taking no more than two hits doing it like this

My secret was to stand still in the Nexus on the weekend for a couple minutes, while I tried to get my bearings. Took me a while to realize that there were suddenly a few mystery items in my inventory, one of which I was able to sell for 70 million. That and a bunch of Freighter Cargo modules. for whispering eggs, literally just run arnd grababing all the eggs no need to even fight the creeps or hide or anyth, most of the time they miss if you clip into their structures and if u take dmg u can always js jetpack away a quick while

Im about 7 hours in, and the easiest method i found to use at the start is the store. My first 2 solar systems have a wild price difference on 3 items, so i buy and sell every time the inventory refills. Managed to buy a B class ship a couple of hours in.

scrap S class ships, once i had a few mil i buy the s clas ships, scrap em and get twice the value i paid plus the upgrade tokens for my ship and the occaisionall s class add on to sell for naniites.

@@wietsevandoninck5278 Piracy is the best. Get the economy scanner and go to a pirate system. Shoot the pods on freighter to steal their items. DO NOT shoot the separate little pods that are not attached to freighters or you will lose standing. Benefit of a pirate system is that the freighter itself will shoot back (just shoot their guns) but there are no sentinel ships that will attack you. Take lots of sodium with you to recharge your shields, though. Once you have filled up your ship and suit with pirate goods, go to a 3-star economy system and sell those goods at a trade outpost in a planet. While you are there, drop a base computer at the outpost and build a teleported there as well. Now you can teleport back and forth to the pirate system and rinse and repeat. (Pirate systems normally won’t let you teleport to space stations in regular systems so this is a workaround) You will usually make about 15-20 million per run or more.

Ancient bones farming still works, although time consuming. If you get the trade rocket from the anomaly, then you can gather until inventory full then send trade rocket to sell it all, and rinse and repeat. Blue are meh, purple are a decent chunk of change, but the rare yellow ones are really what your looking for. Also a good thing to do while trying to get the extreme planet survival achievement.
