Hello from the Ozark Mountains in northern Arkansas! You are an inspiration to me! I have obtained a boatload of wood that was almost all free and I cannot wait to get started. I have my own electric sander and I'm ready to get started.my biggest challenge is getting graphics. I do not have internet or a computer so I will have to pay for copies and go to the library. Since they will be printed off a copy machine I'm pretty sure that it is an ink jet printer. Wish me luck!

Oh darn. I thought this was live. Missed it. I have signs sitting on my kitchen island - well, without the wording. Having major problems. I don’t have a laser printer. I tried my ink jet by printing then spraying a coat of acrylic sealer on top.‘just like using Waterslide paper. My experience is that when you put the Modge Podge on to transfer the acrylic that is on your paper will also stick. So it looks horrible. And then to sand and redo, the ink from your sign sticks good. It’s just a mess. So I am heading to either the library or store to make a couple copies. I am looking on line for a used laser printer. People get new ones all the time, except when you are looking for one. I have a never ending supply of wood!

@@OurUpcycledLife my neighbor gave me probably about two dozen old beehive boxes. If the box is too far gone I've been tearing them apart using each of the sides to make signs or trays. And they have a lovely story. The boxes that I can keep intact I am making into shelves or one I made into a cooler for my porch.
