Thank you Matt, this one helps a multi-creative like me. I do a few things, I'm a recording artist, a music producer, a drummer, a drum teacher, a life coach, a body transformation coach, a spiritual healer, a personal trainer, a priest, a person who's had marketing corporate jobs, a writer and a speaker. Needless to say, sometimes dark thoughts can creep in about "am I confused?" and then videos like this and hanging with my tribe remind me that "hey, you're limitless". That's not to say that just making money reminds one that they're limitless, but it does help in this overly commercialised world, especially for introverts like me. This gives me a lot of ideas, thank you! I'm still split about whether to just have one channel or multiple, but I think with your guidance I'll be successful at either. Thanks again! The problem with these kinds of videos is they're generally 1-3 hours long, and are around 9GB in size, a 1 hour video takes about 7 hours to render in Hitfilm Express, plus the hours it takes to upload to KZbin. These aren't videos you can do daily, maybe every other day. I usually get the video ready, then let it render over night, and upload the next morning. The one thing people in these type videos conveniently leave out is that you need subscribers and views before KZbin starts recommending it, if the video isn't found it won't be viewed and not recommended, it will be a LONG and ARDUOUS task to get any where with a new channel.

Hey Matt - just wanna say, I didn't even know you had this video, and I started a meditation channel less than 2 weeks ago, inspired by all your other videos...so far, I've got about 7 hours of watch time it's crazy...I'm uploading 2 per day right now, cause I saw something you taught about 33 videos...at first, a vid got a lot of minutes of views, but then stopped for a week...and then I was discouraged, but then out of nowhere, I woke up one morning and another video went from zero minutes to 70 minutes...and then today, another 40 minutes. Simonch Akoh so it’s crazy, I got a copyright claim yesterday for a song I wrote MYSELF. I'm a musician so some of the songs I just compose and edit myself. I contested the claim because obviously it's not correct. Otherwise, I re-edit other creative commons music I find, or find royalty free web sites and then edit the music to be 15 minutes or longer. I did receive another copyright claim I noticed, so I'm going to probably replace the music, just in case it was accidentally not creative commons. You can get a free trial at Epidemic sound and upload music during your free trial to your channel without problem. I also use Bensound, and there are a few others.

Just as a tip, if possible you need to turn down the level of which your mic picks up audio on whatever you are using to record on. It's usually pretty easy on most cameras and audio recorders, if you're using your cellphone I'm not sure if its easy to do so on that or not but if you do that it will stop the background white noise or "Hissing" that you are picking up with your mic.

Solid content. Just one small adjustment.... I don’t know who told you that you need to move your hands around all the time during your videos to hold others attention but I can tell you it was a huge distraction because it looks like you’re trying to hard and it just doesn’t look natural at all. Not trying to be negative just think you have a lot of talent and that could help improve your presentations. I’m a commercial Director so it’s in my wheelhouse to notice things like this and suggest improvements for talent. My suggestion would be to cut that down by like 80% so when you do use your hands it has more meaning and impact. I hope this helps 👍🏻

Hey Matt you are so right about there being so much opportunity on KZbin I have been seeing channels for years now getting ridiculous amounts of views for the simplest of videos. It’s even worse to see a channel with tons of views and subscribers when they have not even monetised the channel. Your bang on about the affiliate aspect of KZbin also as it’s the best way to get eyeballs, the other being paid traffic. I used to manage a channel for my son a few years back and it had some success until he outgrown it, but it was a good learning curve for me and enabled me to learn lots of skills such as creating, editing and uploading And optimising videos. My sons channel is still out there and still gets some views. I have a had a few other channels for a while but have not really done much with them, but after seeing people like you I’m going to get back in the game for sure. I have also been learning about affiliate marketing and website/blog creation for the last couple of years. And have had a website for the last year so am up to speed on Wordpress now, it’s also good to be able to create landing pages for affiliate offers.

Hey Matt, I heard from other similar videos on this making meditation, ambience videos where KZbin will demonetize this type of video because just putting purchased royalty free music, stock image, and video into one video is not original enough. I saw other comments stating this numerous times and within the KZbin creation policy it does seem these type of videos are not going to be monetized. If that is the case then mentioning you can make money with this niche I would avoid stating that. Other than that you do make great videos! Keep it up!
