This is how the payment processing works: When a customer buys in your Shopify store, there will be two separate transactions: First, you will receive the FULL retail price from the customer, via whatever payment gateway you set up inside Shopify. So from the price you set in your online store, you will receive everything. Then, in your supplier's platform, in this case Printify, you will be charged separately only for the production and shipping of this time. So once you receive the payment from your customer via Shopify, and Printify charges you for the production, the profit is what will be left in your bank account. Hope this clarifies it! Hey! Here's how the payment process works: When someone buys a shirt on your Shopify store for $40, the $40 will go directly to your bank account through the Payment gateway you enable on Shopify. These could be credit/debit card payments, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Apple pay, or whatever gateway you choose to setup. There are many options. So the full $40 earned from this sale go into your bank account. You then pay Printify on a separate transaction, but also automatically, through your Printify account. Inside Printify, you will set up your Printify wallet, which will be charged automatically once an order comes in from Shopify. This wallet is connected to your credit/debit card. So once the shirt order is automatically forwarded from Shopify to Printify for fulfillment, Printify will charge your wallet only for the cost of production, which could be around $12 for example. By then, the $40 you received from the customer in Shopify should already be in or on the way to your bank account. So once both transactions complete, the profit is what will be left in your bank account automatically. In this example, $28 would be left in your account. Hope this helps!

One problem I'm facing with POD is that if I have multiple images imported from Printify and for example 5 colour options - what happens is that when viewing the site and clicking on the relevant colour pill (say red tshirt), instead of Shopify automatically scrolling to or bringing all the red variant images for the item to the front (e.g. different angles and models in the red tshirt), it only shows one image of the red tshirt and leaves the remaining red product images down the page or along to the right in a thumbnail carousel, mixed up with my other colour variants. Does that make any sense? Do you know how to fix this :D?

You can add more suppliers by installing their apps in your Shopify store. Hey, you're welcome! Technically just $1, you can get Shopify for $1 for the first month. After that, the subscription will depend on the plan you choose, averaging from $5 to $25. As you're going to be dropshipping, you also won't need to invest any money in inventory, so you would only need a small amount of money in your bank account, like for example, $30 to pay for the supply of the product when an order comes in. Regarding fees, Shopify does take a small percentage of each sale if you use a third-party payment gateway (like PayPal). If you use Shopify Payments (Shopify's own payment gateway), you can avoid additional transaction fees, but there will still be credit card processing fees (around 2% for the Basic plan). Whether this is legal to use: Yes, generally this is legal if you are not using any other copyrighted images within it. To create designs on Canva: It depends on what products you are designing for. There is a t-shirt template you can use which tends to be quite scaled up already. I typically design in the t-shirt template and export it at the max/largest size. You can rotate and crop it later within Printify if necessary. Ps: Remember to export with a transparent background!
