And others who do put a lot of time - and money! - into it, will mostly still struggle and give up. Hi Mark, I hope you're well. While this is a good beginners video, I'm afraid it's far from a full picture. You haven't covered the legal aspects of this side hustle -- how to register your business? Where to register the brand to protect it from copyright infringement? what paperwork do we need to do? Where is the best place to register your business while still paying the least amount of taxes? Can I live in the UK and register my business in dubai? Can I live in the UK and sell my products globally through just one POD company? Do I need to keep accounts for legal reasons? Is there an AI tool that could make that process easier? Etc etc. What if a customer wants to return a product -- do they return it to me or the POD? If they want an exchange, what then? Can I work with multiple POD companies? What about if I want my own label added to the product? Do I need to liaise with a Chinese firm? Any suggestions? What does that process look like?

I thought this would be crap and you're just getting the bag so to speak. But actually Gelato is easy to use and has a lot of different products. And fairly good customization. There are some useful features behind a paywall that other sites give for free such as mockups. But in fairness you can create and sell a product without an initial cost, exactly as you said.

Mark, is there a reason you haven't mentioned Amazon at all ? You've made a solid case for selling on Etsy and Shopify, but how can you ignore Amazon Merch on Demand ? Surely with its sheer size, it potentially blows away all the other platforms, as far as sales go ? My apologies if you already covered Amazon in another video, I'm new to your channel so I haven't seen all of them. It just seems strange not to include Amazon here, if you're running a t-shirt POD business.

Gelato should NOT be the first POD service to use. Obviously the OP presenter has an affiliation with them. In my opinion, Printify , and even Printlful are better choices to start out with
