Yep. This is why I exclusively sell locally with no shipping. I will not open up the can of worms of shipping and running the risk of things getting damaged by a careless FedEx/UPS/USPS/DHL/whatever driver during transport, with pissed off customers as a result. The customer will turn their anger on me, not on FedEx.

Same, I do not do shipping. And as long as you make sure to meet people during the day in a populated area or a police department you won’t have a issue with getting robbed

@@ZackSNetwork No, never. I have not even had any experiences where I felt like something might go down. I've had shady people message me about computers I've had up for sale though, but I always trust my gut feeling: when someone seems shady I simply won't make a deal with them. Usually they're not shady in a way that makes me think they might rob me, but rather that they will try to scam me or try to trade counterfeit or stolen items for the PC.

Good video! I spent the summer when I was on college break flipping PCs when I wasn't working my overnight job 10pm-7am. Always look for bundle deals or full builds, part them out and find the best configuration for the parts I have. At the end my main goal was hooking people up with a quality PC for a fair price.

Over here in the UK, people want a £500 build for £250! Nobody wants to pay any more than £300 for a gaming PC, I've tried building a decent rig, listed it for £650 (£75 profit in that) and had it for sale for a couple of months, nobody wanted to pay anywhere near that so kept it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Unfortunately, the thought process of UK buyers is to get a "deal" and lacking a warranty if things go wrong. They will pay top money for latest thing, new and jacked up prices but feel if its 2nd hand, they need to haggle well under what the item is worth. Its no wonder the UK has the highest e-waste count per household. 2nd hand builds done well can be well worth the money and parts sure are not cheap here on Ebay.

The tip about smudges on camera lens is overlooked so much. I literally clean my camera lens before any picture and my photo quality has improved greatly. Great video! What do you use for pricing? Like how do you judge if you’re getting a good deal on certain parts.

I was going to make a full video on that in the future but now a days I just know off hand what the value of most things are because I have been doing this a long time but when I first started out I would always reference eBay for pricing, usually the used parts on eBay are the general standard for how much parts go for and if you can get a deal on marketplace for less then the cheapest one you can find on eBay then you are already on your way to making money in the computer

Couldn't agree more about that last tip (the importance of good photos) being the most important one, closely followed by the second to last one, the RGB one. Those two will by themselves sell more computers than everything else combined, lol. Spec lists, FPS numbers and catchy titles and all that matters too, of course, but nothing draws more attention and clicks than great photos of pretty RGB. I don't care for RGB myself, but my own feelings on it doesn't matter - what matters to me as a PC flipper is making people want to buy my builds - and RGB vomit and pretty photos sells. Holy crap does it sell.

Nice tips, man. I have nothing to share. You pretty much covered everything. You're a pro. I just want to ask you a question. Have you ever tried to flip a mini-ITX PC? I have seen many PC flips from your channel and some other channels. I have never seen an itx flip till now. Hopefully I will see it from you i know that getting an itx motherboard is hard incase if you get one do a pc filp but I really don't know if it will sell for a good price or not. It has remained unopened door so far.

What do you think is a good cheap cpu to pair with an RTX3060? I found a great deal on the GPU, but did the math. Buying most components used on eBay, a new ARGB case ($60), a new 1TB NvMe ($60), 3600XT MB/CPU Combo (used, ebay) $140 16GB DDR4-3200 ($25 used) , $25 cpu cooler (new), and $40 used PSU, I still came out at $544. How can I compete with the other FB sellers offering similar systems for less money? What should I be trying to sell it for? Is it reasonable to expect $650 for a PC like this?

ryzen 5 5600 is the best for an rtx 3060. It would be better to buy the 3060 and sell it and buy an rtx 4060 or an rx 7600.

In the description, be complete, but don't wax too eloquently. If you do that, you're liable to say something a buyer is going to misunderstand or miscontrue which will create expectations on their part which may not match the reality of the item. Don't say too much, but tell them what they need to know to make a decision and have an accurate perception of the PC.

Funny thing is me and my buddy made a video rating pc's listings on fb marketplace, and i cannot tell you how many dirty dusty pc's or listings where it was titled entry level or beginner pc, or the fact that the descriptions were either EXTREMELY vague, or not very descriptive at all or nothing at all, and if those were not an issue there were badly taken pictures!!!!One thing would love to see though is a quick little 30 second vid showing how much much fps there is, or saying NEVER USED
