Can't believe guy is 23 and doing such wonders! The way he thinks or the way he does his work,He can be a great example of mentorship in the later years. The day people like him become the representatives of the youth in every field then that day we'd be able to say Pakistan is in good hands and still rocking.

Areeb's mind and heart are very clear, realistic and aligned to do great business with good ethics! Hope he can sustain it and thrive on it to realize his ideas in the long term. Shifts in Design Culture come as we seek change and only change is permanent! Highly sophisticated things become unreal at one point, and humans seek realness and rawness. Much that ppl have become warped with post-modern pop elements in life, pretty soon they will max it out to start seeking simplicity again...it's a tidal wave which has started in the west, and we will catch it in a year or two. The downside of a highly interactive design is that it has become increasingly difficult to make public education as attractive and interactive as pop-culture for increasing learners' engagement, while knowing that the brain creates original ideas mostly in silence, with no distractions! Add to it the need for farm engineers, bio-chemists, mathematicians etc., which kids do not aspire for any more..as everyone wants to become an influencer (though becoming influenced indeed)!

I just randomly stumbled upon this podcast because I saw graphic designer as the title and wow this was so eye-opening!! Areeb spoke really well and he conveyed his points in such a thoughtful and mature way. I'm definitely going to have a look at his work to improve my personal skills. Great podcast!

At the 29th minute Areeb raises a key point, why are kids being intimidated by their teachers and why their confidence is shattered. Could it be that some teachers are more interested in proving how much they know, rather than teaching the students?

From his instagram, he is more of visual artist than a graphic designer. There's a difference.

@@markhor9863 @W A J I D Kindly learn the meaning of the slang before saying things like this, it is simply slang that is used to express surprise, shock or astonishment. Slangs aren't meant to be taken literally and anyone who takes them literally is either incredibly foolish or he/she seriously needs to work on his/her English. Secondly, English is a Western language, who are you and me to criticize them for how they should be using their language or why we shouldn't be using their language the way they do, after all it is their language not ours. We also have ridiculous slangs in our languages that are widely used.

Although I have spend more than half of my life in USA and have done many things and I want to contribute to both you Muzammil and this kid are doing but on the other hand I am feeling somewhat unwelcome. Anyways keep up the good work.

52:40 If I designer would have to explain I would say " Anti- Design " is becoming more & more popular cause gen-z likes to break the rules The rules of design and the design theory that every line must be perfectly drawn. So it's breaking the design stereotype from Sleek straight lines to glitches and 80's aesthetic.

Aslam u Alikum! May be because theres chaos everywhere, broken economies, failed health systems, war, crime, corruption at its peak. Artists and designers obviously gets influenced with all this shit around them and show it through their work. This is what history taught us. If you study Art&design movements dadists rejected the norms and got wild in their interpretation of art, rejecting logic and reason. Swiss/modernists were against it and were in favour of underline structure, logic, functionality. Blah blah blah.. I think history repeats itself in every aspect of life and us Pakistani are becoming part of it shaping design and taking it to next level. Hip hip hurray.

I didn't earn degree but I have worked on international level as a graphic designer more than 8 years and now I have switched myself to IT. Learning coding and other IT stuff. Brother areeb has wasted his 4 years degree and a message to everyone. 7 year old kids of goras are learning coding while we are stuck at outdated graphic designing field which has no scope no career. Graphic Designing has been taken over by AI
