Do you have to protect your samples anywhere before you put them out there for people to buy? Like is there a way te prevent that people kind of steal it without buying it? (without putting some annoying Tags over the sample previews) Or is it just part of the game? (like; you win some, you lose some)

I don't personally but to be honest the only place they could steal them would be from the audio preview I upload to YT, the thing with that is you don't post the full sample and there's a transition effect between each sample so it wouldn't really be usable. As you say there always will be a minority of people which steal and don't credit etc. but its almost not worth the time in trying to prevent absolutely everybody from stealing them because sometimes its unavoidable. Where would you be concerned that they could steal your samples from so I can try to help more practically??

You honestly answered my question pretty well. I am indeed bit scared that it could get stolen via the KZbin previews but as you're saying, I can't avoid everything. Also maybe the paranoid feeling of sending samples to bigger producers for a 50/50 split without them actually splitting it would be a bummer but if I never try I could obviously never find out. Your videos do help a lot to be honest, I've been using them to try and get to know the market bit. I got like 200 loops/beats on my laptop that I haven't done a thing with yet, I figured I might aswell try and hustle some money out of it haha. You're already helping me out a lot with just making these videos. I hope you will get some recognition for it sooner than later man because the quality is very good!@@olihortonbeats

For example if you release a free loops pack with 50/50 split and the beatmaker makes a beat with your loop, put it on KZbin and Beatstars, how can you make sure he respects the 50/50 split ? I mean with the drums, all the VSTs, there's no way Beatstars can notice the fact that the loop is yours and someone sold a beat with it without splitting the money, right ?
