Stellar advice. Wish I'd seen this a few years ago. Top habit for me: Focus in IPAs! This was a 💡lightbulb and 🤦‍♀️ how-did-i-miss-this moment. I can easily slip into pretending to have a business.... gorgeous websites, prolific social media, zero income. Because those promotional activities support marketing, but only when there is something to sell. How did I miss that? THANK YOU!

Can you give example for a coffee shop ¿ it’s been 4weeks that I’ve been opened. I’ve made about 4,000 so far. I spent 3/4 in products bc I was not sure how much product I was going to need. Do it Take tax, prophet out this out of the 4000 or what’s left after buying product

Great Q! As a new business, you probably won't want to take profit just yet. Most small business don't right away, although I also encourage people not to wait TOO long either or we get into the habit of waiting. It explains how to budget with COGS at the end, which is the part you'll want to understand.
