Great timing! Just this week I've been thinking I'd like to start holding my CEO Day again. I used to have them once a month but for some reason I got out of the habit. My CEO days were always of the dreaming / thinking / planning / assessing variety. To get my head out of client work for that one day I'd work at a different location, like a coworking space, which always worked really well for me.

The more experience I have the more time I spend as a CEO/owner. In my first venture, I spent all my time in the weeds and not creating a big vision killed it. Now I take more time for my big vision. It's easy to get caught in the weeds though! I'd say I spend most time in operations, but I'm still thinking about my big vision and what I want to be.
