This video is still really dope, absolutely nail the bass, it's like a refresher course every three months or so for me. You should do a Yotto start to finish. Something Cooper's Cup or Personal Space, I think you'd smash it.

Great effort! I'd never have thought of putting a delay on a reese bass! Some thoughts though: I think there should be a lot more detuning in those saws. And you'd probably want to put a reverb on the buss. Yotto's basses are a bit further back in the mix so I suspect he's layering the main bass with a wet layer. Lasty I know you chose it for brevity but a better buss compressor would've been The Glue/Ablton Glue Compressor. Keep up the great content otherwise!

Yeah the envelope isn't right, no punch in the start. Tail is easily doable with just saw wave brought octaves down. I actually replicated it and he was probably shocked a little when he heard it 😅

@@VTOLKits Yeah...some sounds you'll only get from Serum; particularly with the wave-table. I use Sylenth for "utility" sounds - e.g. sounds built from the basic waves (sine, saw, triangle, etc.)

Serum! And love your videos! Can you teach how to make the track royksopp - what else is there? (Trentemoller remix) at least the vocal fx but if you make the whole track would be awesome!
