I’m 74 years old, a native of Bangalore (born, brought up… since my great, great grandparents lived in) regret to say that, this is not at all a Traditional, authentic Bangalore recipe of “Bangalore Delicious Mutton Khichda” So many important ingredients are missing, steps taken are badly missed … call it a ‘Bisi Belle Bhat’ not a Khichda..

Appreciate your comment, not all the homes have the same recipe. This is what my great great grandmother has passed on the recipe to me. some times simple ingredients gives great taste. Try this recipe and I am sure you will not regret.
