Emulsifying wax is kind of emulsion wax that can bind water oil phase to creat creamy and hard texture depend on the formulation, while T80 is emulsifier to mix oil and water usually to watery end product or surfactant.

Yes dear mcit is more stable in rinse off product like cleanser etc. It is save to use with the right %. But is ok to replace the mcit with other preservative like phenoxythanol etc.tq
