Have u ever tried recording guitars with pedals and an amp? Like a guitar chain with chorus, distortion, phaser, etc all going through an amp and recorded with a mic? Or is that process more suitable for bands and not beatmakers?

I haven’t tried it but I’m looking forward to doing it soon! For beat makers it might not be “practical” because amp simulators are quicker, but for more authentic feeling using amps and pedals are amazing! Amp sims are great but never perfectly replicate the true sound, micing up an amp is always gonna have a unique feel that you can’t replicate anywhere, and considering how cheap it is now to get a sure sm57 and an amp, I think if it interests you than you should go for it 💯 I plan on it soon
