I’m NOT a Starbucks fan but their nirtobrew is addictive. I’m in love. Each can is $2.99 so if I can make my own I’ll save a lot of $

This is my second Keurig Coffee Brewer. kzbin.infoUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf The first one lasted 6 years. It worked beautifully until the day it didn't. It was hard to go back to the drip coffee for a couple of days while I waited on my Keurig to get here. There is a huge difference in the taste. Keurig makes a really good cup of coffee. This new one is a little different from my old one. I find putting the water filter in was easier than on the old one. Attaching the water reservoir was also a little different but once I figured it out, it too was easier. This new one has the auto off feature but is not programmable like the old one. Only three cup sizes instead of four. The odd thing for me was how much lighter in weight this one is compared to my old one. More plastic and much less metal in the construction of this one. The price is so much less than the original Keurig that I bought and the coffee tastes the same so all in all I am satisfied.

I don’t know what’s their secret but the starbucks nitro has such a superior texture. you guys should investigate 😄 the infusion is much more stable, the foam is thicker and the smoothness is crazy. they must be using a different technique

Most likely just better equipment and a more refined method.
@maribelcalderon72844 жыл бұрын
Yes, the nitro keg is connected to a “never ending” supply of N gas so it’s more consistent and has a finer texture. The isi version is a good investment and space saver plus you can try out different beans.

How long does it stay charged? If you can make 1 litre that could easily be a couple of days coffees waiting patiently in the fridge for me.

Can you try to whip cream in the nitro press? Don’t want to have so much stuff at home but if I can use it for both it would become handy.

I was never interested in nitro coffee but one time I tried Rise oat milk in a can and holly 💩 was the chocolate smooth and creamy. The vanilla one didn't taste that good, something about the vanilla just made it taste like it was clashing (I don't think that's the right word but it's the best I can come up with). I don't think I'll ever make it at home but I was still pretty curious.

I’ve been making aerocanos at home lately. It’s cheaper and easier to make, and I actually enjoy it better than nitro coffee.

I think coffee drinks leave a lot to be desired. While I appreciate sticking to the original taste and not muddling it with less interesting flavors, i feel there are many possible cocktail/drink combinations that would totally work. Please to more. Like coffee with tonic

Can you update it with a head to head of the new nitro brew with just the espresso machine steam wand? I tried it at home and it's just as nice with the cream and texture.

I love the creaminess feeling of nitro coffee but I don’t really like cold brew. I prefer Japanese iced coffee (filtered iced coffee). So perhaps I can try nitro infusing my Japanese iced coffee?

What does a nitro espresso martini cocktail taste like? We recently experimented with (vodka) martini espressos and loved it. Maybe it could be adapted to make a coffee stout with that creamy nitro head, like a Guinness.

When I convert to US measurements, 120 g is about 1 cup beans and 720 ml is about 3 cup water, so 1:3 bean to water ratio. Yet he says it’s a 1:6 ratio… can anyone explain this discrepancy between imperial to US conversion?
@johanesrafael96792 жыл бұрын
1 cup isn't 120g, cup is 284.138 cc/ml Us measurements (cup,tsp,tbsp) is a way to measure something based on it's volume

Nitro in this context is N2 not NO2, N2 is quite unreactive and you actually breath it in the whole time because the air is 78% N2
