You aced this, looks so yummy. Ogiri okpei is not the same as dawadawa. Dawadawa is great but like you said okpei is a game changer. The difference is in their shape and flavour. Dawadawa is flat round while ogiri opei is shaped like tiny balls sometimes rectangular depending on the location you are buying from. Jisie ike nne. I have learnt a lot from you.

Ogiri okpei can be round flat too…there are other shapes ….. The difference is the final taste as aroma, as well as fermentation ,processing,seedlings used ..
