For the white Country outline, you can use the Erode Dilate Node instead of redrawing it, it would save some time !
@ThomasWhiteX2 күн бұрын
Thanks for the help! I just tried erode dilate but the border colours are very limited with the RGBA buttons in the inspector. I couldn't get full white, can you?

Great tutorial!! As a tip, I recommend using an instance for the border instead of redrawing it with the paint node, or a free plugin like Magic Animate by MrAlexTech
@ThomasWhiteX4 күн бұрын
Thanks. What do you mean an instance? And I do have the magic animate plugin but it doesn't seem suitable for this? It only covers zooms, masks etc

I think the second part (the drawing) could easier be done in inkscape.

Whatever you're comfortable with using :) there are usually several ways to do it across several softwares

@ThomasWhiteX sure. Just a suggestion as all things vector are not really Gimp's main strength. Inkscape on the other hand is ideal for that.
@ThomasWhiteX2 күн бұрын
I appreciate the help. I will look into Inkscape 🙏
