For those asking about Kali Alum, it is not required as such, it is there as a preservative, one can also use a drop or two of clove oil, or a "tea" can be brewed from pinch of Fenugreek seeds and use that as the water (sift out the seed). But all these options are there as a preservative, and things will work fine without them.

Add all purpose flour (maida) in a bowl and then add water while mixing so that the texture becomes thick. Provide a low heat for 5 minutes and u r done 😊
