Thanks for the video :). From my experience I don't think there's a way to create CONSISTENT and long-term passive income on Amazon KDP. I think there's too much competition and continuous threats to books that rank well, so long-term you need to continue launching new books. However, there's definitely a chance to make SOME passive income if you launch a book well and it ranks in the top few books for good keywords. How have your results been with older books (2 years plus)? Have you seen sales drop off over time?

Thank you for your point of view. I agree with you to some extend, you do have to keep producing books. I have had books that have dropped off over time and others that are consistently selling. And I've had books that never sold to begin with and all of a sudden they started selling like hot cakes. It's all very unpredictable but the 80/20 rule is steady: I always sell around 20 to 30% of my books.

I've always enjoyed your videos in the past, just watching you speak. I don't think you need so many stock shots as I found it difficult to watch. Just use the odd one as a cutaway if you have a cut you want to make to the recording. I like seeing your face when you're speaking!

Thank you for that, it's just easier to edit that way and I can't always put out a video every week if the edit takes so long. So to be able to post a video every week, some of them are going to have to be presentation type videos. But I will take your feedback into account and try and show my face more often. 😀
