I found by mistake that you can just take your butter and put it in a jar depending on how much butter your using and put a lid on it and set it in a window on a summer day or beside a wood stove on a winter day and you will have the perfect ghee without the fear of ever burning it or having to tend to it. just set it down and come back later and strain it. it will be perfectly separated. and no cleanup of pots or utensils.

you just burned the ghee. it must not be dark and not have a fried smell. the foam on top is removed with a non-metallic foam brush. after it starts to boil, don't use anything metallic. when the ghee is clarified, it no longer needs to be boiled, when you see the bottom of the pot, it means it is ready. try this way once and compare the 2 results. success!

I must say that I love your channel! The content is very clean and refreshing with excellent camera work and good instructions. I noticed that you use chili powder quite a bit in some of your other recipes and I was wondering if there's something I could substitute because I do not like chili powder? Thank you and please keep your content going you will build up a following pretty fast and I am recommending my friends to subscribe to your channel. It might take a while but hang in there and you will eventually get the subscribers you want.

Thank you so much for such sweet words encouragement .Makes me happy that you like my content! I love spicy food , something I have grown up eating 😂 A great substitute for chili powder depends on the specific flavor you're going for, but you can use paprika, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, or a combination of these spices to replace chili powder in recipes. Adjust the quantity based on your desired level of heat and flavor .Try and let me know . And thank you so much for letting your friends know ☺️

@@sprinkleofjoy1404 Thank you for your great information. I grew up in a Southern state called Louisiana in the United States and we use cayenne pepper in a lot of our food, I might try a little ground Cayenne with some garlic powder. I just think that using chili powder makes it taste more like eating chili itself. Again thank you.

The health benefits of ghee: 1. It doesn’t stimulate insulin 2. It has lutein (it’s good for your eyes) 3. It decreases your appetite and helps you fast longer 4. It contains important fat-soluble vitamins 5. It is more easily digested than other fats 6. It contains MCT fats (which are used as energy and are easily digested) 7. It has short-chain fatty acids (which are good for gut health) 8. It has CLA (it’s anticarcinogenic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-allergy) Nutritional value of Ghee: Ghee is purely fat and has no significant amount of proteins, carbohydrates, sugar or fibre. 100 ml of ghee contains almost 99.8 grams of fat. Most of the fat present in ghee is saturated fat. But traces of proteins may be left over in the ghee if milk solids (whey) are not completely removed in the clarification process. Ghee, a clarified form of butter, is rich in healthy fats that can enhance the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins in milk, aiding in better nutrient utilization. This concoction can be calorie-dense, making it beneficial for weight gain and muscle building. Why do bodybuilders use ghee? Ghee contains omega-3 fatty acid DHA and omega 6 (CLA). These fats can help in increasing lean body mass while also reducing fat mass. Ghee also helps in mobilising fat cells to be burnt for energy.

What I do - I scoop out the milk parts before they sink and become too burned to use. I collect them in one jar, add some fat parts, and also add some vanilla sugar and cinnamon. Once it cools down, it can be used to spread on bread. It tastes and smells amazing.

Thank you! Is then the same as {English= clarified ‘brown butter’} / {French= ‘buerre noisette’} sauce?
@sprinkleofjoy1404
@sprinkleofjoy1404 7 ай бұрын
Brown butter/ French beurre noisette sauce- is different from Ghee .Brown butter is made by cooking butter until the milk solids turn brown, resulting in a nutty flavor and aroma. Ghee, on the other hand, is clarified butter where the milk solids are removed entirely, leaving behind a clear, golden liquid with a rich, buttery taste. While both add unique flavors to dishes, ghee has a higher smoke point, making it suitable for high-heat cooking. Hope this helps you 😊. Have a great day 🌻😊🌺.

Which pot is best for making the ghee?💚💚💚 thank you
@sprinkleofjoy1404
@sprinkleofjoy1404 7 ай бұрын
Traditionally, brass ,clay vessels , or cast iron are often recommended and excellent for making homemade ghee as they can enhance the flavor. But, currently I do not own any of those deep pots ,so i use stainless steel with a heavy bottom. It is a practical and commonly used option that doesn't affect the taste. But don’t use aluminum pans. This is because aluminum can react with the acids present in the butter and may affect the flavor of the ghee. I hope this helps 🤗🌻❤️ most welcome 🤗

Hello 😊Ghee and brown butter are different. Ghee is clarified butter, where the milk solids are removed, while brown butter is regular butter that has been heated until the milk solids turn brown, giving it a nutty flavor.

Is this different from brown butter?
@sprinkleofjoy1404
@sprinkleofjoy1404 10 ай бұрын
Hello 👋 Ghee is also made from butter but is simmered longer to completely remove the water content and milk solids. This results in pure, clarified butter with a high smoke point.

So a 1:4 C of reg butter = how much ghee?
@sprinkleofjoy1404
@sprinkleofjoy1404 10 ай бұрын
Hey there ☺️ To clarify, if you are asking about the ratio of butter to ghee, a common conversion is 1:1. This means that for every 1 cup of butter, you will get approximately 1 cup of ghee when converting. However, ghee is more concentrated than butter as it is pure butterfat, so the volume remains similar, but the weight might be slightly less due to the removal of water and milk solids during the conversion process. Please do let me know if this is what you were asking me , thank you 😊
