i so agree the only person iv came across who is not only understandable but also not pushing the learners in a wayward direction where they never learn anything .. rather he pointed out the right chords the right sound the right techniques and simplified it to the next level .. Amazing Teacher .. may Allah bless him ameen

I can't emphasize it enough; I just love Jason. I've been tinkering with the piano / keyboard since I was a child, but it's only now in my 55th year that I'm beginning to understand it, and it's all down to Jason and his fantastic teaching methods. Even though I understand music and have produced a lot music using technology and digital audio workstations over the years, it's only in the past six months since watching Nathaniel's channel daily that I can officially declare myself an intermediate keyboard player after classifying myself as a beginner for 55 years. Thanks Jason, thanks Nathaniel School of Music.

I was practicing so much I was 1 hour 10 minutes late for a class just practicing and getting lost in using what you taught for the different keys. I am challenging myself to learn in different keys which can be a bit difficult but I don't give up any longer. Thank you for this lesson, wow. I have been going through your other videos. At first it seems advanced but when you go through each section, you break it down very nicely, where I face difficulty, I change the play speed to 0.25. Edit to add: The sus2&4 is hard because of how my fingers are used to play the chord a certain way and now I'm adding an extra key, and I don't use my right pink often.

This is getting very exciting...this is really proffessional stuff ,beyond the scope of beginner's lesson. The technique of melodic accompaniment using passing notes needs somewhat further elaboration...since this call and response type method of accompanying can indeed be limitless as opposed to harmonic accompaniment technique, where in a filler is improvised by using merely chord tones..I would suggest at least 5 or 10 dilfferent melodic accompaniment examples, using various scale notes in some future videos. Thanks a lot for breaking down this amazing theoretical stuff.

Can you please tell me whats it call when you at 0:08on your left hand, you went from C (octave) to Eb passing through D? What is that movement called and what is the best formula to apply it? It feels like is 2 beats on C, one beat on D and land on Eb? I have always wanted to use that to enrich chords, but I do not know what it is or how to use it
