I love plantains and I love fried gizzards, but these are two foods I NEVER thought about putting together... This looks amazing, I will definitely try this recipe...My fiancé is Nigerian so I know that he will love it!!!

Looks spectacular! I'll have to try it. I've been doing a similar dish with chopped chicken breast or thighs over rice, but gizzards, scotch bonnet & curry is a whole other dimension of fabulousness!

I was dying to make this ever since I saw the video! It is delicious!!! I did change a few things. Traditionally, where I'm from, we clean the meat w/lime, then rinse & marinate w/a green seasoning. I then cooked, drained & fried them. Also the plantains. I used the liquid I drained from the meat for the sauce instead of the blended tomato. I did add tomato paste, sliced onions, & diced sweet peppers. I cooked it the rest of the way as you did. I will definetely be making this again!
