good to keep petroleum jelly or ice on hand to apply to accidental burns in the kitchen. apply immediately the burn occurs so it doesn't leave a deep scar. it's dangerous to grate the plantain directly over hot oil; best to grate the plantains in batches then add to the heated oil. Applying some oil to the grated plantain should keep the thin slices from sticking together, but if a pair or two stick together, no wahala- ekpo mbe, ewa mbe- you don born twins be dat
