That is so different from the recipe I used to make my kids.. My recipe had a lot more water and you cook it until it becomes thicker.. I feel like this would be too stretchy because of the gluten.

I agree, but this way is safe for small kids to make.

@@MrDidrill yea definitely shouldn't have kids near a stove. I usually let my kids add in the ingredients and mix it up then I cook it myself.

It was rising or proofing. If you make the recipe that requires cooking that won't happen.
