It can handle up to 3" diameter grapefruits and other fruits. If the grapefruit is too large, you can quarter it and juice it one quarter at a time.

Wow, these juicers are awesome. I'm sure I've seen them before being used at some professional juice bars. I'd never seen a pomegranate being juiced, though - this has me sold on it just for that alone! One question, though - can it handle the Red Star Russian Pomegranate, which is HUGE?

I sometimes stick the whole juicer in the sink to wash it. It does not come apart.
