I have done building this motor. This is ridiculously powerful even only at a quarter of throttle! It is powered by 1480kv xteam brushless motor and 3 cells lipo. I will definitely fit onto an 3d printed RC boat.

My design is for brushed motor and 2S lipo. 1480KV motor and 3S lipo might be too much for this design. Gears may break due to very high speed and power. :) Don't forget the grease. We are waiting for the results of the test with excitement.

@@Kendin-Yap hey! As i was playing continuously at high speed in the water, none of them broke. Of course I greased the spur pinion gears but the vert/horizontal gears don't have to be greased because the water will act as a greaser already.

This is the best and most complete RC boat motor I have seen! Excellent design, even if water were to get in it doesn’t matter since motor rises above the water line. The only question is the scale. It’s huge and will require a huge boat with enough front weight to offset the high mass and center of gravity. Keep it up! Your ideas are awesome!

Love the cooling pipe solution. Using the pressure from the propeller to pump water is pretty smart if you ask me ;) I've been wondering if it would work on a full-scale outboard

I wonder if having the water enter the coil at the top and exit at the bottom would improve the flow at all due to a siphoning effect. It would give the tubing an "easier" angle as well.

Despite the bulk of the bevel gears box in line with the prop it is a very good design. I'm about to design one using a small flex drive which offers a much reduced drag profile, I will see what I can achieve. The Dremmel style flex drives are quite well priced, especially if you get the drive as part of a budget Dremmel clone kit.

Evet deniz suyu yani tuzlu su her türlü metal malzemeyi pas ve korozyona uğratır. Bu yüzden Denizde kullandığımız model teknenin ister el yapımı ister fabrikasyon üretilmiş olsun fark etmez günün sonunda bakımını yapmalıyız. tüm metal kısımları önce tatlı suyla yıkayıp kurutup sonrada yağlamalıyız. Sprey yağlar kullanılabilir. Ayrıca soğutma suyunun dolaştığı boru hattını da bir plastik şırınga yardımıyla tatlı su basarak temizlemek faydalı olur. Çünkü zamanla içeride tuz birikiyor ve tıkanma yapabiliyor.

There is no special pump system. Water is pumped by the pressure created by the propeller. This is a popular method for boats.

It can be used if the ESC supports 3S (11.1V) or more (Voltage).

NiMH would be more accurate. ESC works with both options. This selection is just a limit selection for the ESC to cut off the energy to the motor at low voltage level. In other words, it sets a protection limit to prevent the battery from overdischarging. @@zizoeldjazairi7922

Borunun iç çapı dar olabilir. Bir kıvrımında bükülme olabilir. Pervanin doğru pozisyonunda olmayabilir. Borunun su giriş poziyonunu pervanenin biraz aşağısına veya biraz yukarısına kaydırıp deneyebilirsiniz.

Bakma ben elektrik elektronikten anlamayan biriyim ama sanki yapılabilir gibi geldi bir Türk markasının dünya kayak(Kano) pazarında kullanılması kendi adıma çok güzel olur.

Soğutma şarttır. Parçaların çoğu pla dır. Sadece motorun vidalandığı parça ısıdan etkilenmemesi için ABS ve ASA olmalı. Dosya isimlerinde doluluk oranları (infill) yazmaktadır. Pervane hazır bir üründür. Videonun aşağısında ölçüleri yazmaktadır. Pervaneyi muhtemelen promodelhobby.com da bulabilirsiniz.

Çok teşekkür ederim üstadım. Motor parçalarını basmaya başladık. Fakat bizim yazıcıda ABS basamayabiliriz. PLA deneyeceğiz. Sizin daha önce yaptığınız tekne için aldığımız daha düşük bir motor var onu kullanmayı düşünüyoruz. Fakat rulmanları bulamadık maalesef :(

:) What do you mean by volume? I assume you mean the cooling water outlet. It has nothing to do with power and boat speed. The thrust of the propeller provides the speed of the boat.. 27 Turn 540 motor & 57mm 3 blade propeller (2:1 gear ratio) . This is very powerful system.
