Why do people call meat that's not ( prime ) prime rib? I've been a meat cutter my entire working life and I don't understand why call choice grade ribeye roasts prime. Prime is a grade of meat. You have the bottom grade select beef then a step up choice then the next level up prime and then the best of the best Kobe beef way better than prime. I have never understood why call a grade of beef something it's not. I love choice standing rib because you have to be a very well off person to afford Coby beef at $500 a pound. Maybe one day. Lol. Please answer this question. Thanks in advance.

Hi...I have a question. One time I cooked a Boneless Ribeye Roast. I did the high temp for a few minutes per pound, then turned the oven off for 2 hours. It was DELICIOUS! My only complaint about it, was that it was cooler than I liked, when it was done. How would you change that method, so that it's warmer when the 2 hours are up?

I'm trying this recipe as we speak. Just turned off the heat and set the timer for 2 hours. I've never done a prime rib roast. I've eaten a lot in the past (Victoria Station). I have to admit that I forgot two ingredients. The red wine and the Herbs de Provence. Still, got my fingers crossed that it will still have plenty of flavor. Hope my wife likes it. She is one of those strange individuals who consider any beef cooked less than well done as being "raw." Of course, we know that it's cooked perfect, if you have to shoot it before it quivers off the plate! Heehaw!

Big Proud of You!!! The "live" collaboration was Awesome tonight!!! Y'all did so good👏🏿. My Suggestions: 1. Giveaway: Personalize Cast Iron Set😍 2. PopUp Tour: 8 Course Dinner. Use Air BnB to hold a large numbers of people, figure out per person charge to cover OH, food cost, travel ect..., and some cities may need more than one PopUp dates. Ex: Houston 2nights 3. Future Collabo: Juneteen Grill n Que series. 4. NEVER forget you A-1s from Day-1s 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾.

My wife is the same way. Loves her steaks well done. Anything less is "raw" to her.. I still love her, despite her foibles. 😁 But still, well done is blasphemy to true beef eaters.

Honestly, I think it's because younger generations have either abandoned the idea of getting lots of family together or simply don't have big families anymore. Getting ready to have family over for a 12 pound roast. Everyone tested covid negative.

Are you using salted or unsalted butter? I'm assuming unsalted, but would like to know for sure. Thanks!
