Hi Sierra, our mum wants us to tell you a few tips to prevent the Puri from getting too hard: Do not knead the dough too long Preheat oil on medium heat, then put in puri for just a short while, turn over and remove Don’t fry too long or it will become too crispy and hard Practice this way first. After a few tries you will know the method to make it puff up! All the best 😊

@@AnneSoosayCooks Thank you so much for this information. I did knead the dough long...thinking the more I knead the softer it will become and yes.. I thought I should put in the puri when the oil is hot..😭. No wonder it become biscuits. Now I know the mistake I made. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH ❤

Puri very hot or medium fire,I find too hot does not cook inside.tq

Puri cannot be fried in oil that is too hot. Medium heat is good. However this also depends on the fire of your stove. After making this a couple of times, you will be able to adjust the fire accordingly. Practice makes perfect for puri! 😄
