Everyone can learn something about welding. An old man once told me that you will never learn until you pull the trigger. Im still learning every time i go in to my little shop.

Just recently subscribed and you have inspired me as I'm off work due to a injury waiting on a opp but realizing that my 60 yr old body is a bit beaten up from Quarry work and thinking on a new direction in my life and since I've had a little bit of welding experience and love what you are doing things are going to get better so cheers from New Zealand 😀

Creative and functional the perfect bar stools. Never short of ideas that's what sets you apart. I can visualise the welderup furniture range. Can't wait to see what's next out your head. J

In case you didn't know GoPro sales a welder's cover so that we can see the welding. As usual Steve great show can't wait to get back out to your shop.

Great video Steve. I used a tractor seat on a rat bike I built. There is a lot of “farm junk” heading to scrap yards here in Montana. Just killz me to see this good stuff getting recycled and crushed.

Cool video. I'd definitely be interested in a welding course starting from scratch. When I was in the USCG and went to their welding school, we learned with oxy / acetylene, and DC buzz box welders to "push the puddle" and we were shooting for it to look like the stack of nickels on their sides. When I got out of the service, I focused on being a machinist for the last 30 plus years. Not being proficient at welding has held up plenty of my projects. I've always had friends that could weld, so I'd have to wait for them to get to my project. There was always plenty of machine work I could do while waiting. It would be great to do a course on the different types of welding (TIG, MIG, etc.), and please include the welder settings needed for the different types of material, and the different thicknesses. We have done work primarily for the department of defense - DOD, medical, and ocean research industries, so we have had to do the ISO documented process of part inspection like periodically taking a part and milling it in half so all the things that can't be checked on a finished part, can be. In regular fabrication work, nobody is going to go to those lengths to inspect a job / part. A good course for you to offer might be how to check your work before you turn it over to your customer. For ornimental projects, it won't matter ( to a point ), but for things that require strength, it would be good to know how do you check your welds? Sorry for the long note, but you asked for feed back. :) I enjoy your videos. Take care .

Thanks for the tip yes I like these how to vedoes and the seats came out really cool, 4 hour's of your time thank you so much. I will make them but for my tools to set on like my vice, and other machine's that need to stand alone and that could be moved if had to be.
