Hey everyone! I hope you liked the tut! I want to make more this year. Any suggestions? All my time these days is given to the CorridorDigital channel, so definitely check that out. Also, we put out a new vlog every other day on the Samandniko channel if you want to see more of my shenanigans. Cheers!

Some sort of masking dealio involving arrows? Like having one shot where an archer pulls, then release the arrow, and then a target (Preferable human) getting hit by the arrow.

I really wondered how you did the "Minecraft Wall Explosion" in the John Cena Video - especially the texturing part! A Tutorial would be really great! :) To this one: I really liked the outcome of the Sparks, but I'll may use the "flickering" preset in the Opacity over life tab - that may looks a bit more real! Great one Wren! :)

I just spent the last hour and a half going through all of the videos on this channel, and man, you have come a *long* way. I applaud you, good sir.

That's exactly what I needed to learn. We need more of these tutorials.

Well that was just a very good tutorial. I love how you explain every single number instead of just putting it in because then you learn something instead of just getting a preset handed.

So I subbed to this channel before you guys were doing bi-daily vlogs on Sam and Niko, and finding out this wren is that wren, completely wrened me out! I was just wrened when I saw this. Anyway hope you use this channel more wren!

I like this. Seeing the different types embers gives me ideas for different types of settings, uses, even stories that can be told. Example, I'm playing a miner in a video, I can use this for when I use my pickaxe on the rocks I'm "mining" to really sell the idea. Sweet!

The random seed is probably used to generate when a particle is emitted and control the initial position, velocity and direction the particle flies. If you find one you like you would probably be able to copy that seed number and get the same results every time, though that kind of detracts from the natural feel if you use the same number every time. Anyway that's how I suspect that number ties in with what's going on with the emitter.

As an advanced user i can say i learned a lot when you were talking about the differents settings! so thank you! sadly we can't use both bounce and air modes...but i thinking that with some displacement it could be possible to replicate the fx while using the bounce mode.
@SirWrender8 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Displacement is a good idea but I'm not sure how well it'd work. You can try using several different instances, with some set to air and some set to bounce maybe?
@JulianAbreu8 жыл бұрын
i'm not sure either. Yeah that could work, but it will all depend on the camera angle when it comes to compositing. Dr Strange Trailer gave us a good look to what we're talking. those are simulation yeah, but I believe they can be replicated with particular..you should try something like that in corridor haha Cheers!
