Thank you! I have a background in patternmaking, but I learned 3d visualization online by trial and error. Practice makes perfect. Try to recreate real garments in 3D. It works best for me.

I have a doudt!!! In 4.56 mins after the offset pattern outine for the inner pattern , you are deleting the sewing line and then you are selecting the internal line of the inner pattern and sewing to the outer pattern after that you are extending the sewing line till the side seam ends, both are same right !! Why are deleting the sewing line after the fabric extended ( offset pattern outline)

When I offset pattern outline the seamline moves to the offset line. But I need to sew the neckline to the internal line. Everything below the internal line is a seam allowance.

Hi Gabriel, i’ve got the same issue with MD 10, the set sublayer button was completely removed and is possible to use that only in Clo3d. But if you need to make the collar bulkier like if its double layered you have to select the collar pattern and after adjust the Thickness(collision and rendering) in the property editor of the fabric. Its more simple and produces same result 👍🏻

I'm so happy that it was helpful for you! I adjusted the scale of the texture with "Edit texture" tool. You can find it in a 2d toolbar or use "T" shortcut. I turned on "desaturation" as well in the property editor to make it grayscaled. I think that's it. You can also adjust the normal map intensity in the property editor.

Yes, just don't add a seam allowance. Replace it with a tape.

Thank you! Unfortunately it doesn't. It''s not the same as Layers. You can use Layers to place one pattern over the other temporarily. Then you need to set the layer back to 0. Sublayer action is permanent.

Hi, it's hard to say without a photo. I can think of red bold lines that sometimes show up when sewing lines have a different length or because of a bug. In this case, try to redo the sewing in that area. It can also be the tiny little threads of sewing lines that you can hide. Find and click on the "Show Threads" icon on the left vertical panel in a 3d window, under the T-shirt icon. In any case, these threads shouldn't be visible in a Render window or after export. Yes. "Layer" is useful when you need to simulate one garment over the other. Jacket over the shirt, for example. "Sublayer" is useful for individual pieces, patterns to keep one pattern over or under the other one.

7:00 а точно этот шов у полоски пришивать нужно? Там получается самый нижний перекручивается. Или у меня в Марвелоус почему-то конфликтует слои не помогают или я что-то напутал.

Cpu simulation включена? На gpu слои часто конфликтуют. Можно не пришивать, если не получается. Можно добавить имитацию шва, в Clo есть такая функция, не знаю как в Марвелоусе. В настройках topstitches в самом низу property editor есть значок 3d. Включите его, это добавит normal map имитацию шва к отделочной строчке.

@@MyDressPatterns спасибо большое за ответ. Но я делаю шов так, что-бы он был в геометрии. Я делаю близкие приближения камерой в рендере для видео типа Redshift V-ray. Мне не важен полигонаж. Главное что-бы на ткани были вмятинки видны. Хотя конечно нормал мапу можно потом в дисплейсмент увести, то тогда она наверное не слишком правильно симулируется при анимации

Добрый день. Да, принцип такой же, но меньше операций :) Нужно только лишь создать лекало подгиба низа, пришить его к футболке и выставить на сгибе 0 значение Normal map intensity и thickness. Также можете поменять fold angle и затем добавить отделочные строчки.

А если не сшивать воротники, а одним куском, в кло есть инструменты, чтоб сделать складку. Как допустим стрелки на брюках?

Можно одним куском, но внутренняя часть будет периодически пролазить или проникать (collide в общем) через внешнюю. Можно применить set sublayer ко шву (в property editor есть такая функция), но это не очень работает в действительности. По-этому, чтобы избежать таких проникновений и сделать модель наиболее стабильной, я всегда сшиваю детали и убираю normal map со шва.

​@@MyDressPatterns спасиб и со стрелкой разобрался и с куском и с двумя. Единственное, что никак не выходит, это нормальная складка на воротнике, где шов. Т.е. в итоге воротник все таки как будто ношеный, а не ноый. Силу шва и угол регулировал, толщину ткани, все равно на новый воротник не похоже. Пытался даже тканям Pressure -70 сделать. Все равно либо кромка как у ножа, либо как будто под швом небольшой провод и это выглядит как будто воротник не глаженый. Ну это так мелочи, вряд ли кому то такие нюансы будут нужны. Но по хорошему для швов бы им не помешало сделать похожую функцию как для точки Smooth Curve. Интересный урок, жаль что для всех этих игр нужен проц мощьный xD

Hi, try to increase the image size in Image\video properties in the render window. Set it at least 1920x1080. Also, you can decrease the Noise Threshold in Render properties - for example to 0.020

Hi, unfortunately, links are no more active. Try to use basic fabrics from the CLO library: Knit Cotton Jersey and Rib for neck binding. Do you mean the point on a side seam sewing line? If you can't extend it, you can delete that sewing line and add the new full one. Or add an additional sewing line for the seam allowance.

Only temporary "Layer" option in Property Editor as far as I know. Freeze patterns so they doesn't move and you can arrange other patterns around, over or under it. Simulate on CPU. If you want to use GPU - freeze or deactivate parts that are already simulated on CPU.

Hi, unfortunately Jersey and Rib fabrics are not available on the CONNECT store anymore, so I recommend you to use Clo3d basic fabrics such as Knit Cotton Jersey, Knit Cotton Rayon Jersey, or Knit Pique Jersey for the bodice and sleeves and Rib 319gsm for the neckband. It wasn't my resources so I can't upload them.
