The thing that confuses me and I have been searching and have yet to find a video on is what if I want to import my own colors to change a t shirt color. For example I want to sell Bella canvas t-shirts, so I need to change the t-shirts to their actual colors and not from the colors that photoshop provides. Does anyone know the answer to this?

Hi Barbra thanks for the question. You basically have to make a new layer for each color you want to use in your template as the fabric color. If you google search "Bella Canvas color card" you should be able to find their swatches. Then you can use the eyedropper tool in photoshop to sample each color you want from the card and add them in as new layers

So let me see if I got this right so if I go to the Bella canvas website and let's say I choose blue on their color card do I take a screenshot of it or how do I get that into photoshop. And once I get it into photoshop photoshop what do I do with it then.I am a true novice :(

Yes exactly. Take a screen shot and open it in photoshop then use the eye dropper tool to sample a color from it. Then you can fill in a new layer with that color.
