I had some tapioca in my pantry and wished I could run it over to you! So glad you are better. I'm by myself this year (lost hubby of 40 years Nov 2018 to cancer). But I'm going to spend the day with the Lord and give thanks for ALL He has done for me! I am mostly bed bound and totally house bound but I could have been like so many widows out on the street! I am still able to take care of myself and I'm SO thankful! I pray all here are very blessed this Thanksgiving!

I've never thought to out strawberries into my cranberry sauce, how much fun you are. 😊 This year we are just going to have our own family of five for Thanksgiving. For years and years we've had to borrow the cultural hall and set up there because it got to be to many people for one house to fit! Our house taps out at about 35 people, so off to the church we would go. I'm gonna miss being with everyone, but safety is the best way to help this season. Sending love from Oregon!

Hello Jennifer! so glad to see you quickly rebound from your surgery! I never saw a recipe with strawberries-I will be sure to try it. Making my cranberry sauce as I'm enjoying your video-my recipe was handed down from from great grandma. Calls for using 1 medium apple (any kind) washed and cored to remove seeds, leave the skin on and grate very fine or whirl it in a mini food processor. Apple has natural pectin to thicken the cranberries, the consistency is soft set gel-not a solid set up. Just a small group of six this thanksgiving here-we plan on doing some face time with other family members to express what we are grateful this year. May everyone have a blessed and safe day this year! Happy thanksgiving!
