How to make Ring Skirts

This is a help video showing all the main steps in making ring skirts
please note: this is for the REAL SCALE RING ONLY

u don't even need to ask, just do everything in this video and you'll make perfect ringskirts

when you cut the material it is larger than the actual size for a ringskirt, the cardboard is the actual size you need, when you iron the ringskirt, you need to fold the excees material over the cardboard, so you get a straight edge

no, u will need to cut it in two on paint, then resize (keeping the same proportions) do this for both sides, so that they are the same height then print them out

most computer printing suppliers have them, but tend to cost more i buy mine from ebay, they are really cheap, but the paper is v good quality just type iron on transfer paper for dark/black materials

they are two different things both are as thin as string elastic is the stretchy cords - the ring ropes are made of this, and you can get different widths wool is a material - clothes are made of this and other things too look it up

unfortunately yes for that version of the real scale ring there have been two modern ones made, and two vintage ones based on the early 90's the one i have is the official scale elimination chamber ring, which did not come with a ring skirt the other recent one is the official scale hell in the cell ring, which came with a very accurate raw ringskirt

no although it is slightly larger than most other rings, it still isn't a real scale ring you can tell it's a real scale on if the grey canvas is real material, as in it's not plastic the black sides which have the logos on are also material, not plastic

the official scale ring is very big has material mat, ringskirts and steel turnbuckles and the correct proportion with the figures the normal ring is crap and really small with plastic turnbuckles and plastic mat

u need acryllic paints - the ones for warhammer figures are the best just pick some up from gamesworkshop

i did not put the logo on the white carboard - that was just a template to help me with the shape of the ring skirts the logo has a layer you can peel off and then you apply the logo on the material, put greaseproof paper on top and iron on the glue on the back of the logo will stick it to the material

@andthatsthebottemlin well the logos on the ringskirts may look different to the ACTUAL WWE logos, so I'd search for 'Wrestlemania X ringkirt' on google/photobucket.... and if that doesn't work then yeah try 'Wrestlemania X logo'. If you don't find anything then it may be that no-one has uploaded the logo or something

well you could create one to just cover the plastic designs on the normal rings - wwe actually made a couple of these back in the early 2000's, but you would have the empty space under the apron liek you would for the real scale rings i dont know the dimensions so sorry

real scale rings are ones that are the correct proportion to the size of the figures, the smaller ones are not real scale basicaly just type in wwe real (or official) scale ring in ebay or google

@Kirk Shunk I believe that once you scale the logo up in an image editing software, you have to split it because it won't fit on the A4 page you're printing. So I measured it using the ruler on the programme, and used an actual ruler on the A4 page, did some practice the printed it out for real. Then match it up on the material and iron on.

Yeah I used sort of the same technique. Just import it back to photoshop, split it in half and then paste them vertically separate. It probably means creating several pages to get it right, you can experiment with the printing. Just cut off the logo so you only print like the outside edges, then print on normal paper. That way you can measure with a ruler when they're done, and make the changes on the computer if needed.
