I made salt bars for Amy Warden's challenge. I wasn't excited to make them and was just sure I wouldn't like them. They turned out to be one of my favorite soaps! They leave your skin both clean and soft and are great after gardening. I keep a bar on the wash tub in the laundry. Love the black and white!! Thanks, Wilma ! xx

Yes, epsom salts + dead sea salts have a different mineral make up then sea salt and can cause your salt bar to weep. It will not effect the use, just the appearance.

How much each of the charcoal and clay did you use in your two separate containers? 1 tps, 2 tps? did you mix them with your fragrances/essential oils or did you use a bit of soap? Please explain, I am formulating my own salt bar and I am confused on the additives.

in you opinion, salt bars aren't somehow more aggressive to the skin? (many people do think so) maybe (my opinion) this is counterbalanced by high superfatting? =)
