I've tried so many different methods for making rope loops and this by far is the best. I am just completing a model sailing ship so I grabbed a block of wood and some nails and made a jig. With a little practice I was making these easily and quickly. I build in plastic so the scales are a little smaller than what you have here but I just used some smaller nails and it worked out great. The hanks look great on my model. Thanks.

This is for Greg Marini. Search for “Master and Commander Boccherini” and that should find it.

That's the music from the film "Master & Commander" Far side of the world. Very apt music indeed.
