That was one of the best tutorials I've ever watched!!! Brilliant. So clear and well explained but no extra faffing or irrelevant chat. Superb editing too. Loved it!

I have only recently mastered this star technique as my sister was showing me how to do it with paper. It took her many years to learn and I did it in two days. 😜👍💕💕🇩🇰🇩🇰

thank you so much. The tutorial was so clear. I really like the idea of using less fabric. I stopped making them because they were just too thick.

Hi Mira, thank you again for another lovely tutorial!!! I've been wanting to make these for ages and I absolutely love anything 'Scandi'😍I'm going to have a go at these tonight and thought I'd make a Christmassy garland with them, perhaps with some bells and wooden beads in between? I could also add a few more to the garland each year to make it longer! Huge thanks again and sending lots of love and hugs as always Jo xxxlolxxx💖

Hi Jo, so lovely to ‘see’ you again! 🙋♀️😍 Those are fabulous ideas - especially adding to a garland each year. That will soon turn into a string of memories from each Christmas ❤️🎄✨.. I hope you’ll enjoy hours of creative fun making them! Thanks so much for your lovely message! Sending lots of love and hugs right back ☺️🤗🙋♀️❤️xxxxx

So you add your decorative stitching after the star is made? Nor before? How do you bury the knots? Between the fabric layers? I like the thinner star better and am hoping it will be easier to handle. Thank you!
@bluebellhillcrafts27 күн бұрын
Did you see the segment right at the end of the video? That’s where I give a few options on stitching. The running stitch through the middle of the strips you would add before interlocking the strips - no need to bury the knots here as the ends of the strips will be trimmed anyway. If you want to stitch around the outside you’d do that right at the end and you can hide the knots in the fold of one of the tops. I hope that helps! 😍 Have fun 🙋♀️

I like your stars and already made two of them. I really love the frayed edges, too. But how do you get them this way?

Excellent video! Thanks very much. BTW Your description, share, etc is such a light color that it’s virtually impossible to read. You may want to fix the font color.

Oooh, thank you so much for the suggestion! I set it up on my phone and didn’t realise that. I can increase the black border around the writing, that should help to off set it against the background.. many thanks again! 🙋♀️🙏
